Buddhist ceremony in the Himalayas
We ran into this Buddhist ceremony in a village Zanskar, in India. We tried to walk to a different town, got lost, asked for directions, and were directed to this temple instead of to the town we thought we were going to. Monks, nuns and lay people took the statue of Manjushri from the temple and carried it around the village. But there was much more to it than that: chanting, talks, and even food.
